Main scientific achivements of department: Within 1998-2005 there were organized and held 6-domestic, 2-regional and 3-international conferences of ShAO; 19 issues of the scientific journal" Circular of ShAO" were prepared and published; Internet and fax connections were established at ShAO; departments were secured with personal computers; activities on advertising and propanda, as well as on design works were carried out; observatory was provided with scientific literature; annual, 5-years and 40-years Reports of ShAO were prepared and published; Web-page of ShAO and booklet of ShAO were made and published; participation in the publishing of book of N.Tusi "Tahriri-Oglidis".
